The Head of Audit & Assurance will provide the Committee with the following annual reports.

                  i.        Risk Management Annual Report 2023/24

                ii.        Counter Fraud Annual Report 2023/24

               iii.        Internal Audit Annual Opinion Report 2023/24

               iv.        Annual Governance Statement for 2023/24

                v.         Audit & Governance Committee Annual Report 2023/24

The Head of Safety, Planning & Resilience will provide the Committee with the 2023/24 Health & Safety Annual Report.

The Strategic Director, Finance & Resources will provide the Committee with a report on the use of Waivers.

The Strategic Director, Finance & Resources will provide the Committee with a report on the Government’s plans to clear the Local Audit backlog.

The Council's External Auditors, Forvis Mazars, will provide the Committee with a progress report on their work on the audit of the Council’s Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2024.

The Strategic Director, Finance & Resources will provide the Committee with a report on Treasury Management activity.

The Head of Audit & Assurance will report on progress and outcomes achieved within Audit & Assurance.

The Head of Audit & Assurance will provide the Committee with a report on Risk Management activity in the period.

A meeting of the Committee will be arranged for 11 December, subject to Council approval, in order to consider the draft Statement of Accounts for approval.
